International retreat host and intuitive plant medicine facilitator, Althea Lawton-Thompson, is hosting her 5th annual Sacred Peru Retreat May 31 - June 7, 2026. 15 spaces are available for this powerful experience in the rainforest of Tarapoto, Peru.

Registrants will receive a pre-retreat diet plan, full packing list, flight planning support, and integration virtual meetings pre and post retreat. Since Althea's first personal experience with sacred plant medicines in Central America, she has healed emotional and mental traumas from her past. After learning Spanish, she began working with shamans throughout Central and South America learning more about the spiritual properties of various plants. After being blessed to start leading her own ceremonies, she created generational healing in her own family by journeying with the medicines collectively with her husband, son, father, and brother. Althea has worked with 100s of people to support their healing and spiritual expansion in ceremonies around the world. As an African American woman, she works with African American licensed therapists, medical professionals, and local indigenous healers to specifically create safe space circles for people with lineages from the African diaspora.
